College of Humanities Organises Training Programme on Promotion Processes and Procedures for Academic Staff

The College Registrar, Mr. Benedict Fosu Adjei, organized a training workshop on August 27, 2024, focusing on the promotion processes and procedures for academic staff at the University of Ghana. Held at the College of Humanities Conference Room, the workshop was attended by college administrators, their assistants, and supporting staff. The aim was to equip participants with the latest processes and procedures related to academic promotions, particularly in light of recent changes to the policy guidelines.

College of Humanities Launches 2nd Annual Report and College Handbooks

The College of Humanities, University of Ghana (UG) has officially launched its 2nd Annual Report along with two handbooks for College Academic Affairs Officers and the Promotion of Academic Senior Members. University of Ghana Receives Grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to Support the Establishment of A Centre For Teaching and Learning Innovation

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded a grant of US$800,000 to the University of Ghana, to support the establishment of a Centre for Teaching and Learning Innovation in the Humanities. The grant will run for four years, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year. This grant is part of an amount of US$4 million the Foundation committed to the University of Ghana in 2016 to enhance scholarship through teaching and research in the Humanities at the University of Ghana.
