ELIGIBILITY FOR PROMOTION 

Applicants should have served the required Probation period as stated in the appointment letter

PROMOTION CHECKLIST

  1. Application letter
  2. Completed UAB Form 2A
  3. Head of Department’s Confidential Report
  4. Applicant’s Curriculum Vitae
  5. Teaching Portfolio - A teaching portfolio should contain (the applicant's CV, teaching philosophy, teaching loads, course outlines, exam questions, etc.)
  6. Applicant must undergo three DTAC assessments (those who applied before the waiver)
  7. Completed UAB Form 2E indicating applicants' contribution to the joint publications (CAu, Sc, Dr, etc)
  8. Completed UAB Form 2F List and Description (APA)
  9. Written contribution to joint publications  (Separate Sheet- optional)
  10. Completed UAB FORM 2H -University and Public Service
  11. Exhibits (soft copies)
  12. Application Submission Forms

HOW TO ENQUIRE STATUS OF PROMOTION APPLICATION

Senior Lecturer

The College Secretariat will send an email to the applicant indicating receipt of the complete dossier from the School Management Committee. This is the first step in the enquiry process, ensuring you are informed about the progress of your application.

Professorial

The College Secretariat will email the applicant to indicate receipt of a complete dossier from the School Management Committee.

A second email alert will be sent to the applicant when the dossier is forwarded to the Office of the Registrar.
