BRIDGING INEQUALITIES IN A CHANGING WORLD: ADVANCING INCLUSIVE GROWTH, RESILIENCE, AND SUSTAINABLE NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The College of Humanities at the University of Ghana, in collaboration with Oxfam International, invites submissions for its 7th International Research Conference, which seeks to explore the intersections of inequality, social inclusion, technology, and sustainability.
In an era of rapid technological change, economic uncertainties, climate crises, and shifting socio-political landscapes, inequalities persist in wellbeing, wealth distribution, access to education and healthcare, gender, environmental justice, and digital divides. Achieving equitable and sustainable development, in line with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, requires innovative interdisciplinary research and actionable policy interventions.
This conference aims to foster interdisciplinary discussions that address economic, social, environmental, and technological inequalities towards building resilient and inclusive systems. The conference particularly encourages contributions that explore how technological innovations, financial inclusion, governance, indigenous knowledge systems and cultural shifts can be leveraged to build resilience and promote sustainable natural resource management and equitable development.
