Professor Mary Setrana,  Director, Centre for Migration Studies, UG and  Chair of Forced Displacement in West Africa together with  partners from the African Union’s African Centre for the Study and Research on Migration (ACSRM) and Uppsala University, Sweden, paid a courtesy call on the Provost,  College of Humanities. The ACSRM was represented by the Director, Dr. Ibrahima Dia while Uppsala University was represented by Dr. Soorej Jose Puthoopparambil.  In his remarks, the Provost noted the significance of partnerships in tackling issues of forced displacement and migration in general. He called for a deepened relationship through collaboration with the IDRC Research Chair through the Centre for Migration Studies and the College of Humanities.
