The  Provost further indicated that plans were underway to roll out the program on a larger scale, with the aim of recruiting additional interns from schools, institutes and centres and placing them in  units across the College as well as within UG. In her response, the Vice Chancellor was elated that the UG Internship Policy was being implemented at the College level. She noted that in the past, many policies launched by the university had not been properly implemented and hoped that the UG Internship Policy would not be one of such. She expressed her delight at the prospects of implementing the internship policy and its ability to integrate experiential learning, emotional intelligence and other soft skills into the training of students at the University of Ghana to make them more competitive in the job market.
