Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow Pays A Courtesy Call On The Provost of The College of Humanities

Prof. George Worlasi Kwasi Dor, a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow, in the company of the Acting Dean of the School of Performing Arts and the Head, Department of Music, paid a courtesy call on Professor Daniel Frimpong Ofori, Provost, College of Humanities.
Prof. Dor, a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow from the University of Mississippi, USA, is paying a 90-day visit to the Department of Music.
During his stay, he will be collaborating with the Department of Music on a research project titled, “Innovation and General Changes in Borborbor Dance-Drumming of the Ghanaian Ewe Youth”. Additionally, he will be participating in a 5-day workshop under the topic, “The Art of Composing Ghanaian Choral Music”.
As part of planned activities during his stay, Prof. Dor will also be mentoring junior faculty and graduate students at the Department of Music.
