Please describe your research in nontechnical language:
 My areas of teaching and research interest are climatology, climate variability and change impacts on agriculture and smallholder adaptation to climate change.


How would you explain what you do to someone unfamiliar with your work and field? 
 My work include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, research in the area of climate impacts on society and providing information to solve societal challenges.


What draws you to your work? 
 The independence and stability the work offers.


What's your favorite course to teach and why?
 GEOG342: CLIMATOLOGY. This is the area of my core training and I have research in the subject area.


What do you wish others (colleagues, students) knew about what you do? 
 The research contribution I make to solve societal challenges.


If you could share one piece of advice with students, what would it be?
 Students should focus on the task of obtaining a good education by paying attention to detail, defending their right while discharging their responsibilities.


So far in your career, what do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
 Production of knowledge through research.


Finally, if you weren't doing this, what would you be doing?
 Have always wanted to do this.
